Launched in 1950 by Master tailor Bernward Leineweber, Brax, ‘’The Trousers Of Progress’’ for ‘’discerning customers of all tastes’’ became the motor for rapid growth. A short while later, Leineweber also offered Brax trousers for women and added Germany’s first trousers with a zip fastener in 1960.
